Announcing Our New Community Forum: Moving from Slack to Discourse

Hello LimaCharlie Community!

We're excited to announce that we're transitioning our community from Slack to a brand new Discourse-based forum at community.limacharlie.com.

Why We're Making This Change

While Slack has served us well for real-time discussions, we've identified some limitations that prevent us from building the best possible community experience:

  • Messages in our free Slack plan disappear over time, causing valuable discussions and solutions to be lost

  • Knowledge is fragmented and not easily searchable

  • Limited accessibility for users whose organizations restrict Slack

  • Lack of structured organization for community contributions
